SIRA is your sewing pattern for a casual summer wrap skirt – with or without a flounce. English instructions.

Pleats at the front, a shaped waistband and a tie that you knot into a bow at the side. With a flounce at the hem, Sira becomes a ruffle skirt. Sira drapes best in soft, flowing wovens such as viscose, Tencel, chambray or poplin.

Sizes: Women EU 34–50 · US 4–20 · UK 8–24

Skill level: intermediate

Fabric: softly draping wovens: viscose, Tencel, chambray, poplin

Fabric requirements: 1.1–1.6 m depending on size and variation (140 cm wide)

Notions: interfacing for the waistband, 1 button or snap fastener, thread
