FYN is your sewing pattern for relaxed men's trousers with a straight leg – long or short. English instructions.

Pleats at the front, slanted pockets, back pockets and a fake fly. The split waistband is smooth at the front and gathered with elastic at the back – with drawcord or eyelets, as you like. Long or short, optionally with dividing seams at the front – for colour blocking or a knee patch. Designed for wovens from linen to fine corduroy.

Sizes: men EU 44–62 · US/UK 34–52

Fabric: wovens: linen, Tencel, chambray, denim, twill, fine corduroy

Fabric requirements: long trousers 1.7–2.5 m, shorts 1.2–1.5 m (140 cm wide)

Notions: elastic 4 cm wide, woven interfacing, thread, optional drawcord and eyelets
