ohNanni english is a classic makeup bag, cosmetics pouch, toiletry bag

or handbag available in three different sizes.

With minor adjustments, you can easily repurpose ohNanni for a variation of uses. This eBook offers optional features such as multiple panel designs, usage options, carrying styles, and strap variations. A timeless all-rounder. All versions are fully closed with a zipper. Inside, you can optionally sew an extra pocket and/or a zippered pocket, as well as a key holder. As an additional add-on, one of three flap designs can be added. A self-made shoulder strap or handle in various styles—or the use of ready-made straps—is also perfectly suited to this project and is explained in detail.

Whether made from canvas, woven fabrics, denim, corduroy, softshell, coated fabrics, light oilskin, or trendy materials like faux leather combinations, ohNanni is a true eye-catcher. It is also perfect as an insert or hanging pouch for many of my oh meéla bags, especially in the sports bag or weekender/travel bag series.

I will guide you through all the sewing steps in this tutorial with detailed, well-illustrated instructions. In addition to the patterns for each size, you will find a pattern for cutting out the various straps. The seam allowance of 1 cm (3/8”) is included, and grainlines as well as all important markings are indicated.

MATERIALS LIST:

• Exterior fabric: Faux leather, coated cotton, canvas, light oilskin, woven fabrics, denim, corduroy, outdoor fabrics, and more.
• Lining fabric: Canvas, woven fabrics
• Interfacing: Vlieseline H250/S320/H640 (Pellon 931TD, Décor-Bond 809, 987F Fusible Fleece), Rono- or Ronarfix (Pellon 71F Peltex), Style-vil fix.
• Choose the appropriate interfacing based on the thickness of your fabric and the desired firmness and usage. For more specific details see descriptions on the pattern pieces. Please follow the recommendation.
• Depending on the size of your ohNanni: 1x continuous zipper with a width of 3-3.4 cm (1 ¼” – 1 3/8”), plus 1x zipper pull.
• Big: 33 cm (13”) / Midi: 27 cm (10 5/8”) / Mini: 23 cm (9”)

OPTIONAL:

• Additional lining: Canvas, other woven fabrics
• For any of the flaps: 1-2 pairs of magnetic snap buttons
• For the lining zippered pocket: Depending on the size, 1x continuous zipper with a width of 3-3.4 cm (1 ¼” – 1 3/8”), plus 1 zipper pull  Big: 26 cm (10 ¼”) / Midi: 22 cm (8 ½”) / Mini: 18 cm (7”)
• For the key holder: 1x 2.5 cm (1”) snap hook / small snap ring
• For a self-made shoulder strap: 2x snap hooks and 1x slider 4.0 cm (1 ½”) instead of a ready-made strap
• When using webbing as shoulder strap 1x desired length of 4 cm (1 ½”) wide webbing, cut to your needs 
• Eyelets (grommets) or book screws
